Velma Coronado is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of California and a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the California Society of CPAs. Velma commenced her career providing attestation and tax services to clients in real estate, manufacturing, law firms, and individuals. In addition to her experience in public accounting, Velma supported the Director of Finance for a privately held Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) entrusted with capital over $1 billion dollars, in which Velma was responsible for the financial accounting and reporting of three Funds. Velma’s experience in the private sector, coupled with her passion to helping people, allows Velma to continue providing wealth preservation services to high net worth individuals.
In addition to her professional career, Velma has maintained a commitment to community and leadership over the years. Velma has volunteered as a counselor for the University of Southern California’s (USC) Leventhal School of Accounting Summer Leadership Program. Throughout this program, she utilized her educational and professional experience to introduce the accounting industry to underrepresented high school students and helped them gain an understanding of the business profession. Velma has also served on the Advisory Board of The WunderGlo Foundation, whose mission is to raise awareness, empower patients, and find a cure for colon cancer.
Velma is a graduate from the USC Leventhal School of Accounting. While at USC, Velma was selected as an instructional assistant for financial and managerial accounting. Prior to attending USC, Velma was a participant in REEO's Rising Stars program at Glendale Community College.
