Guiding Principles
History
Resources for Educational and Employment Opportunities, was founded by three students who, without the academic preparation by community colleges and generous scholarship assistance, would not have been able to successfully transfer to a four-year university and earn a college degree. Based on their experiences and academic research, the founders identified a number of barriers that often prevented community college students from achieving their academic and professional dreams. Resources for Educational and Employment Opportunities was founded to empower community college students by providing financial, academic and professional resources in order to ensure that each student has the opportunity to transfer to a four-year university, to earn a college degree and to obtain a professional position upon graduation.
